For close to two decades, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Valley legend Alice Cooper has been providing opportunities for teens to open up and find their creativity and talents in the world of music and the arts. He and his wife Sheryl created the Solid Rock foundation back in the mid 2000's but eight years ago, the foundation grew into an actual place for teens to go after school to develop skills some never knew they had.
The Solid Rock Teen Center in Phoenix is that place. Cooper and his team will open up a second center in Mesa later in 2021. Cooper has achieved so much in the world of music over the last 50 years, but as he tells us on Arizona Achievers, Solid Rock is something he is most proud of. The goal of Solid Rock is to provide a landing place for all teens and to provide support for their creative endeavors. It's all about building up the next generation.
Cooper also spends some time talking about the inspiration for his latest album, "Detroit Stories".
