"Having friends and people around you who are helping you and giving you ideas, helping support you along that journey. . . It's very difficult. There are going to be trials and tribulations, and if you don't have that support network it can be very hard to stay committed to your vision and what it is that you're pursuing. But, even aside from that, just having a network and a community of people -- the collaboration opportunities, partnerships, potential customers, and clients that you could work with and serve, there's just so many different ways that having a network and having connections will help you to excel business, versus if you don't have an 'in.'"
