Urban Farming Education works with schools, domestic violence shelters, people with disabilities, the homeless and the elderly to provide healthy & fresh food. They do this all while educating children about the importance of farming and helping people with PTSD via nature therapy.
In the midst of the pandemic, they have stepped up to provide fresh food to our community. They recently distributed 600+ boxes and 25,000 pounds of produce to those who are food insecure. Another donation is happening soon. Get more info at weareufe.org.
