Chance Cozby, executive director of the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the Big Chief of the Thunderbirds, talked about the decision making process behind the Thunderbird's emergency $1 million COVID-19 response fund to Arizona charities that are in dire need during this COVID-19 pandemic. The Thunderbirds acted quickly in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Money has already been given to Boys and Girls Club of the Valley, St. Mary’s Food Bank and St. Vincent de Paul, and the organization will continue to distribute money as community needs develop.
