Hosts Stephanie Parra and Lloyd Hopkins are joined by Dr. Chad Geston, former superintendent for Phoenix Union School District, and Zarah Alfatlawi, a student at Central High School. The group discusses the importance of prioritizing students' mental health over achievement and advocates for educators and administrators to make it a top priority for overall student success.
Also in the segment, Zarah Alfatlawi introduces viewers to Central High’s Zen Den Club - the school's first mental health and wellness club. Zen Den Club works to provide support and comfort to students while creating a positive environment for their classmates on campus.
