AIA Executive Director Shares Fall Sports Plan for High Schools

David Hines, the executive director of the AIA, returned to speak with us about the state of high school athletics here in Arizona during the pandemic. Hines said the plan currently is for fall sports to officially begin in mid-August, even with the many delays in reopening of schools. All districts make decisions for themselves.
Hines said the AIA will soon be issuing modifications to it's guidelines for all fall sports activities with the hope of keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible. He also talked about detailed plans of managing any Covid 19 positive cases for prep athletes once practices and games begin.
